


| About the General and IDEA Chemistry Course This chemistry class has been designed to help you discover the chemical and physical world around you while focusing on collaborative groups, research, laboratory work, and investigation. This class will be taught using a variety of instructional methods, including lecture, laboratory investigations, problem solving, computer technology, and reading and written homework. Get ready to work hard, get involved, act responsibly, and have an awesome hands-on science experience. In this course we will be focusing on the following Chemistry curriculum: Atomic and Molecular Structure, Chemical Bonds, Conservation of Matter and Stoichiometry, Gases and Their Properties, Acids and Bases, Solutions, Chemical Thermodynamics, Reaction Rates, Chemical Equilibrium, Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry, and Nuclear Processes. The chapters we will be covering will be discussed in class. |
